Playing favorites

I don't have many favorites. Don't have a favorite movie. No favorite restaurant. Nor favorite meal. You couldn't pry a favorite album out of me (although Dark Side of the Moon might come up under torture). I've been asked to name a favorite actor and couldn't. Mel Gibson comes close, but that has more to do with his courage and faith than his acting skills, mighty as they are.

I do have a favorite hymn: And Can It Be by Charles Wesley.

And now I've got a favorite song: Nothing Without You by Bebo Norman. You can find the lyrics here, downloads at walmart.com (this link is to every song in their catalog with "Nothing Without You" in it. Scroll down for the Bebo Norman versions - there are two) and I assume I-tunes.

The lyrics are great and a big part of why I love the song, but Bebo hits this one out of the ballpark and down the boulevard with his powerful vocals.

I think this song says it all. I am nothing without Christ. He changed my life and I owe Him my all. He is all I need and I want everyone to know that He can do for them what He did for me.
